How dare you?

Suicide is a sin

It’s the most selfish, despicable thing you can do
Whichever way you look at it
If you take an overdose
You’re overdosing those around you
Burdening them with a load that you have left

If you put a gun to your head
You’re really blowing out your families’ brains
Leaving them in despair and shock, and irrevocable terrifying images

If you throw yourself over a bridge, or on a train track
You are in essence throwing away the lives of your loved ones
Counting them as nothing,
Discarding them as not worthy of continuing to be a part of

If you stick a knife through your heart
You are blackening, deadening the souls of the ones you leave behind
You drain the life out of them,
Their hearts grow cold

Don’t do it
You know it

And you think ending your life ends it
Ha!
That is a lie from the devil
Coz that will not be the end
But the beginning of a torturous, dark, infinitely worse existence
Eternity spent in hell!
In darkness
Alone, but not really….
Forever
Sounds of agony all around you
Terrifying anguish, sounds of gnashing of teeth
Hopelessness, despair, moaning, weeping, screaming
On and on and on and on
You will NEVER be able to drown out these sounds
An ever-living nightmare
An unquenchable thirst will beseech you
That you will never be able to satisfy it
You will feel immense sensations of torture, of being on fire…literally
For eternity, forever
No turning back, no changing your mind
No God to hear you repent or to forgive you
Lost forever….and ever and ever

Don’t let the deceiver lead you into thinking it’s an ‘easy’ way out
This is what he can come up with:

‘End your life, it’s hopeless anyway
Your life is useless
What is the purpose of going on?
It’s only going to get worse
Nobody cares, no one really loves you
Just give up now, quit
End your life, go to sleep for eternity
Rest from all your current troubles
No more pain, no more worries
No stress…..
Chill out man, lekka slap
Peace and quiet’

Or to those who think life is a party, live recklessly, no regrets. He tells them they’ll have a hell of a party, (pardon my pun) together with all their sinful friends & rock stars in hell

‘Fun and excitement,
Do whatever you want
Heaven is boring man
The party of a lifetime will be happening in hell, forever
Don’t miss out, come one, come all’

Now brace yourself for … just a few… nuggets of Truth:

‘Your life is a gift from God
You belong to Him alone
Your life is not even your own to take away
Your body is not your own
It is a temple of God
You were purchased with a price
You have no right to end something you never began
God created you, He’s the only One who appoints our times of birth and death
The devil is a liar. Father of all lies
He’s a deceiver who comes to still, kill and destroy
But Jesus came that we may have life
And have it more abundantly
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life
He will keep in perfect peace those who trust in Him
There is hope, His promises never fail
For He knows the thoughts and plans He has for you,
Says the Lord
Plans for welfare and peace and not for evil
To give you hope and a future in your final outcome
He will never leave, nor forsake you
He’s always around
God has a purpose for each and every one of us
You are the apple of His eye, the focus of His love
Before you were formed in your mother’s womb,
He knew you
He had His heart set on you, the one He loves
No matter what you’ve done
Nothing is too great that God cannot forgive
You are unique in His sight, His beloved
He cares more than you can fathom
It’s only going to get better, your latter will be greater than the rest
He’ll NEVER stop loving you
He uses adversity to make us stronger
There are blessings in the storms
Be grateful for who He is
Jesus commands us not to worry
There is peace in Him that is fully accessible to us today
He doesn’t promise to take away the problems in our lives
But He promises to help us get through them,
Coming out wiser, stronger and greater in Him because of them
All things work together for those who love the Lord
Those who are called according to His purpose
You don’t have to do anything out of your own strength
God’s strength is sufficient
Let Him be in control
Life after the death is a reality
Wanna bet?…
100% chance that we all die one day, guaranteed
You’re born, you live, you die
This life on earth is but a breath
Like a blink of an eye, it’s over
Either you go to heaven or hell
Finish en klar
Eish… sounds bleak?

Well here’s the loophole:
God tells us to obey and love Him by following ALL His commands
This is not for wimps
Believing in His Son and becoming like Him more every day is the goal
Living a righteous, upright life through Jesus
This is all possible, all things are possible for him who believes
Jesus made it possible when He died for our sins on the cross
Remember
For God so loved the world (not just a certain group of people) that He gave
His one and only Son
That whosoever (yes, that includes you) believes in Him
Shall not perish, but have everlasting life
So we could all receive the crown of eternal life
For we are all sinners
We all fall short of the glory of God
There is no rest for the wicked
God is holy, He is a God of justice and can’t stand evil practices

Selah, pause and calmly think about that

So…
Choose life! that you and your descendants may live
Eternal life, no worries, no pain, no tears
Chill with your Heavenly Father
His light to sustain us, no more darkness, no evil
Forever and ever and ever…
A dream come true
Being surrounded by His loving presence, and warmth
And worshipping Him who loves you more than you can imagine
There is so much to do in heaven beyond your wildest imagination
You will enjoy every part of it, satisfaction guaranteed
Being with those who loved Him too in this short earthly life
Family, friends who were believers
You will have your memory of them
This is the beginning of REAL life
Everlasting peace, joy, happiness
Everlasting….
Did you hear me… ever… ever … lasting
That means it’s NEVER going to end
Eternally… forever and ever and ever’

ALL TRUTH

God loves you

You’re never alone
Talk to Him about it
He’s right there with you right now
Receive His love and mercy
Ask Him to show you, help you
He listens to your every word and thought

Do that
You know you can
