No matter what comes my way today….

I will strive to remember……


This is the day that the Lord has made…
I am simply to rejoice and be glad in it!


Nothing shall come my way today that has not first passed the approval and awareness of God Himself. He has determined that together He and I can face all of today's challenges. As the words of that old famous song declare:

Have Thine own way, Lord,
Have Thine own way.
You are the Potter, I am your clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Lord, as a lump of clay, I will do my best NOT to tell you how to mold and shape me today. I will endeavor to stay ON the potter's wheel and not try to escape. And when I face the kiln of testing, I will think of Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego – and you – there in the fiery furnace! I can take comfort that in any "fiery furnace" I may face, you will be there with me too.
