Miracle Stories

I know of one truly awesome little boy. For the purposes of this article , his name is 'Adam', and he is now almost a teenager.

When Adam was two years old he was abused, in a manner that would sicken the strongest of us.
Since then, many eyes have been closely following his childhood to watch for any signs of long term Post-Trauma.

There is no need ......... Jesus is right there with this child.

The Bible tells us Psalm 8:2.( Matthew 21:15)

'Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger'

Adam is the perfect example of this 'Truth', and daily 'rocks my world!'

Academically he is gifted, with a photographic memory. No one ever taught Adam to read - he just could. Whereas most children will read short stories .... Adam reads full length novels in two evenings. He is an avid reader, and very, very smart. Both his reading level and Math Skills are that of a Post High School student.
He has already decided on a career: as one who will design and create the perfect artificial limb for the disabled.
All of which is amazing, but, the heart of this child is his greatest asset.

He has unquestionable faith, almost as if born with it.
He prays quietly, whenever there is a need, and with no prompting.
Recently his Aunt lay dying, it was a 'done deal' according to her doctors. However she now seems to be recovering, and has suprised everyone .....
everyone except Adam!
When he heard the news he confidently informed his mother," See Mom, it's because I prayed, because I never gave up hope."

At five years old Adam could list 'The Fruits of the Spirit' without ever opening the Bible.
He recites The Lords Prayer 'off pat' and can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about the love of Jesus. His favorite Bible story is 'David and Goliath', in which he takes on the role of David and Goliath represents sin.
He will tell you that the role of a Christian is to be a very small light in a very dark world, but that if we join together 'The Light' becomes bright enough for others to clearly see.

Is this child prideful for all of this ? Never.
He is quiet, polite, and respectful to all.
I am only able to share because I am one of the people closely involved in Adams life.

He is, to me, a present day miracle, and I am convinced that he is surrounded by angels!

His 'normality' is more than anyone could have ever hoped for.
His 'personality' is wonderful, loving and giving.
His 'Spirituality' is unbelievable.....unless of course, you have faith.
