Heart Monitoring

Recently, I have had the need to wear a heart monitor, one of those little (not-so-little) devices that monitors heart activity and transmits signals to the powers-that-be to record “events” in my heart activity. There are three electrode leads that attach to the chest area and little beeps and buzzers let me know if electrodes are loose, affecting the connection.

Wonder why God did not equip us with a spiritual heart monitor too? One that constantly is connected to Him so that we can know what is going on in our heart (He already knows). It could have little beeps and buzzers too to let us know when we were disconnecting from His presence. There could be a pocket-sized Troubleshooting manual:

TROUBLE-SHOOTING YOUR “HEART AND SOUL” DELUXE SPIRITUAL HEART MONITOR: Each monitor is equipped with a Triune team of leads connecting wearer to Manufacturer/Monitoring station. Monitoring is 24/7. Portable manual provided with quick, easy to understand instruction guide.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS / Check all Three leads

Fear: Remember to Trust. Read passages in the Manual on Trust vs. Fear. Call Help Line for assistance.

Sin: Stop! Seek forgiveness immediately. Make restitution where necessary. Reconnect monitor leads. Beware of large guilt traps once leads are reconnected.

Doubt: Check that all Three leads are connected. Reread Manual provided by Manufacturer.

Confusion/Distance: Make sure that you are properly connected and within
prescribed distance from your Monitor. Being too far from Monitor affects reception of signal. If reception of signal is weakened, you may experience confusion, anger, depression, frustration, lack of direction.

Remember to keep monitor fully charged daily for optimum connection to Host device.
