At the young age of 33 I have done a lot of things both good and bad. Some of the things I have done in my life include: alcohol, drugs, sex, money/shopping, eating, music, movies, roller coaster rides, traveling to 5 different countries, and lots, lots more.

Anyone of these things can give you a thrill, a high, something that makes you feel good. Some of these things are bad like alcohol and drugs and some are good like eating, sex (within marriage), and more. Of all the things that I have ever done, there is one thing that stands out by far as being the best thing I have ever done and it is this: falling in love with Jesus!

Yes, that's it my friend, falling in love with Jesus. There is nothing in all my life that even compares to falling in love with Jesus, nothing. As you can see in the list above I have done a lot of things in my life, most of them being very pleasurable and fulfilling to some extent, at least for the moment. But truly, falling in love with Jesus is the best thing I have ever done.

You may ask, "Why has falling in love with Jesus been the best thing you have ever done?" I could attempt to explain this to you but until you fall in love with Jesus yourself you'll never really know. It will be just another interesting idea to add to your stack of interesting ideas, but if you were to risk losing yourself and surrender your life completely to Jesus, then you would know exactly what I am talking about.

When the love of God comes over you there is absolutely nothing like it! It fills the room! It is so real! His Spirit is so very alive! My life has been so dramatically changed by His love! I would be completely lost without it. God delivered me from drugs, alcohol, and a destiny that had prison or death written all over it. I am changed because of His love.

Stevie Wonder seems to agree with me. He sang a song at Bishop Noel Jones' church in Los Angeles about this very thing. I feel like crying every time I watch it. My friend there is absolutely nothing in this world that even compares to the love of Jesus! He is so very wonderful! If you don't know Him I recommend for you to give your life to him. I recommend for you to fall in love with Jesus. It will be the best thing you have ever done.

If you are already a Christian, maybe you need to fall in love with Him all over again. Maybe the oil in your lamp has run dry. That's O.K. Jesus said I stand at the door and knock and if any man would open I will come in unto him. Jesus is ready to come and give you something new and fresh in your life! Fall in love with Jesus all over again my dear brother/sister, it will be the best thing you have ever done!
