We have all heard of the famous saying, “ Time and Tide waits for no man ”.

But, God does wait…… for each and every one of us to return to his Sacred Heart. He waits patiently to welcome us back. He is ever forgiving. All we have to do is trust in him , for he will never let us down.

The month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is in the Sacred Heart of Jesus that we find rich graces, mercy and a selfless, unconditional love.

We are called to imitate Jesus in all his words and actions. Small deeds and acts of kindness, politeness, love and encouragement towards others goes a long way in building up our own treasures in Heaven. If we can inspire the life of one person, then, our life has been worth living.

We read in St. Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians (13: 1-13) about love. He ends with the words “These three remain Faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is Love”.

Love is the dynamic force which draws people together and towards God. Because God dwells where there is love. There is no room for hatred any more.

So, let us look at one another with the eyes of Jesus. When, we do so, we will see only the good in others, we will receive the grace and strength to overlook their faults and shortcomings.

The grace to love, which surpasses all other emotions comes from God alone. The beauty of a person lies in the heart and soul. This beauty is reflected in our love for others. It is then that we transcend towards profound holiness and can look forward to the great heights of Heaven.

We should always pray to the Sacred Heart of Jesus to inspire us at all times to lead a loving and fruitful life.
