Often times when we are just beginning to know the Lord we wonder what is my part to play? We often think of ourselves and our time and our money because we are raised to think selfishly I myself fell into this trap. I was so broken from years of abuse and trauma that I felt that I had all the problems and everyone had to take care of me. I never realized that Jesus would be the one to take all of those scars and transform them into stars.
But, Jesus has done just that. He has given me hope when there was no reason to hope. I hated God for years wondered if there was a loving God why he allowed people to get hurt, especially me! And if there was a loving God why was he not helping me?
Thats just it though. That is our part to play. We are Christ among the world. To help those that are seeking and asking "If Jesus is real why isnt he around?" Well he is, in us. He heals us so that we can love others more then we ever could. In fact it shocks me today where God has taken me. From a girl that was so broken that she thought love didnt exist I now see that both love and God exist and that the two coexist and are one. God is love! He loves us more then we dare or even dream. Give him a chance and you will see your life transform and become clear. If he can change my broken mess he can sure change yours! I hope that you will see Gods love more each day. I myself want to see more of who our Lord really is, not the way the world has made him to be. For we have a loving god a personal god and one that is always there for us. He never judges but only wants the best for us. Please think about inviting him into your life and let him transform you into the woman or man deep down that you want to be. You are all so very loved and I hope that your summer is blessed beyond all measure! Think big and you will recieve more then you even dream! I know I will!
