Gleaning glimpses of His glory
From the treasures of His Word;
By His Spirit gently nourished
At the table of the Lord;
Precious pleasures to His people,
Blinded minds can't understand;
Real refreshment from His presence,
Gracious gifts He gives to man.

All the wonders of His glory
And the marvels of His grace,
Bring sweet stillness to my spirit;
Gleaming gems to contemplate.
I drink deeply from the fountain,
Freely quenching all my thirst;
Jesus promise to His people;
Living waters flowing forth.

"Come to Me, all you who labour,
Find a rest place for your soul;
I will carry all your burdens,
Lead you to my Father's home."
There, you'll have eternal blessings
Far beyond the thoughts of man;
By His Spirit we have foretaste;
Samples from His master plan.
