“The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?” (I Corinthians 10:16).

Many times the Lord will impress upon me to take communion at home right in the middle of praying for someone. I don’t become religious at that moment and wonder what to use as elements for communion. I grab a piece of bread and drink whatever is in the refrigerator – sometimes Coke!

God doesn’t get offended at all. He’s more offended if I am not sensitive enough to hear and listen for His instructions. I’ll admit most times I don’t know what to pray, but I do trust God who knows exactly what to pray.

Communion will consecrate us to God so we have all of heaven also praying for our concerns. Communion brings protection to our doorstep and ushers in an ability for more revelation – exactly what we need to deal with life’s problems.

PRAYER
Thank you Jesus for giving us your blood (that ratified God’s covenant with us) and bread (that symbolizes your body). Because You took every sin and sickness, we don’t have to deal with death on a daily basis. Amen.
