We are the least among you.
Our lives were lived to the fullest.
We gave our all to society.
The final chapter nears completion.

Our lives are simple and hard.
All we have left is dignity.
To some, we're just a paycheck.
Others, people without voices.

To you, we rely upon.
For our every need.
Getting dressed.
Going to the toilet.

Even to ease our fears.
The price is too high.
Yet, you take it for granted.
Holding human life in your hands.

With every passing moment,
Our life changes a little more.
Something else quits working.
Something else malfunctions.

Who are you to treat us with such disregard?
Chip away at our dignity until it's gone?
Abuse your authority over us?
This is our reward for giving to society.

We are the least among you.
Our lives were lived to the fullest.
We gave our all to society.
We are the forgotten people.
