Blessings come from everywhere,
Whether the skies are cloudy,
Or if they're fair.
Jesus Christ is always there
To lead me where the blessings be;
Whatever You give, I accept from Thee.

Ask for His blessings every day,
Seek His face, and come what may;
Look for Him in the little things
In whatever an act of kindness brings.
You will learn, as Jabez did,
Just how His blessings find us.

Always keep an open heart,
Ask Him to enlarge your borders.
Look for His appointments
Where you can grow
And test your wings,
And learn to depend on Him
for all the things
We cannot do in our own power,
God comes through at the proper hour.

Protect me from the evil one
Though temptation may be great,
Deliver me from the fight, O Lord,
From slander, grief, and hate.
There is nothing wrong
with our finest hour
Being spent down on our knees,
Asking,"Keep me, Father,
From lies and deceit,
And my own careless ways;
That I may discern Your will, O God,
Right here, Lord, at Your feet."
