The world is getting further and further away from its roots in faith in its Creator. It is persecuting in ever-greater numbers those who hold on to their faith in their Creator. It laughs at Christians, makes fun of their stubborn beliefs, calling them outdated.

Outdated, you say? That might be taken to mean that they don't apply anymore, that they are wholly ineffective in dealing with one's affairs and people. Is that so? Is it not, rather, that the trials and tribulations of the world seem time and again to prove the effectiveness of the principles expressed in Scripture? Time and again don't we see evil slay the wicked, fools and their money soon parted, and a host of other verses from Proverbs proven true? It takes some far seeing eyes to see the FINAL outcome of the ways of the world. Romans 8:28 says that things WORK to the good of those who are His.

It takes time to see God's principles for people and their ways to be shown true. One thing a nonbeliever cannot prove is that God does not answer prayer. He cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a Sovereign Being did not intervene to bring about miracles. He cannot prove that God did not bring something to pass that He said He would do.

The world is faithful to the moment. The Scriptures are faithful to the end of time. God's Word is The Old Faithful!

Tell me what you think, I'm just thinkin out loud!

I loved the line that Scripture is faithful until the end of time. So true--faithful till then, and beyond. Good thoughts.
