It wasn't on a busy street
God's Presence FIRST was known;
It wasn't in the galleries
Creation FIRST was shown.
It wasn't from a center stage
He claimed mankind His own;
But rather, in a Garden
Where He walked each day, alone.

It wasn't for the mighty
That He sent His Only Son;
But rather for the lowly,
Who had, too few victories won.
He defeated Satan's forces,
Not with bomb and blazing gun;
But rather, in a Garden
When He said, "Thy Will be done."



You're searching for the Master's touch
And yearning for His care;
Yet, finding temporary 'things'
That only cause despair,
Your nights are filled with awful fears,
And pleasant days are rare;
Seek the Master in a Garden;
You can ALWAYS find Him THERE.
