The greatest mistake of the whole human race must be greed.
We're better for worse,as we all seem to curse what we need.


Let me be lonely, is man's alibi.
Deep down, he knows there's a love that won't die.


I'm part of creation, I've God's reputation in me!


Tell me, do we understand the love at our command?
Tell me, do we even try to spread our wings and fly?


Our big politicians say there is no food to go 'round.
Our babies are dying, their suffering soon gets you down.


Mother goes begging, what more can she do?
There's no mistaking, her shoes will fit you.


Through all her frustration, she says;
God's salvation is free!

Tell me, do we understand the love at our command?
Tell me, do we even try to spread our wings and fly?


All wars were the same as we all fought in vain, don't you see?
An aye for an eye was the common man's cry, as indeed


Hatred and kindness won't walk hand in hand.
Loving is timeless, say peace; I demand
my own liberty, which is all part of God's history.


Tell me, do we understand the love at our command?
Tell me, do we even try to spread our wings and fly?
