Praying about Relationship/ Seeking Direction 17.12.2007

Father God (My Saviour - Lord Jesus), You said:
Before I call You will answer and while I am still speaking You will hear. I have sought You about whether or not my time at this location is up, all I want is, Your will to be done in my life. So Lord, if it is up, please direct me to another place of worship. At present I am feeling boxed-in; it is true that I find it difficult, to have real fellowship with some people no matter how hard I have tried. Not having right relationship with each other affects me greatly and this affects You too. I have been through various emotional rides I know, and You know that too, because I have shared my feelings with You.

You have made me the way I am, so hoping from church to church or leave a church with any roots or seeds of bitterness is not me. You know I’ve not even visited other churches, so how am I going to know where You are leading me? Father, please show me each step what to do.

My Lord Jesus, I spoke to Graham last night about his church, and he said his pastor has been reaching out to the Jewish community for many years near his church. And he said the pastor felt called to minister to the Jews. My heart is at the place were I feel akin to Your people the Jews, and I am more understanding about them through studying Your Word, through reading and other organisations which deal with returning Jews to Israel. Lord, is this where You’re leading me?

I do need to investigate more about how Jewish outreach and their function, also I have a longing to visit Israel, Lord, You know this is a miracle both in finance constraint and my right about turn to go there, because I had a belief that the country was a secular place and they seem to be so far away from You. But You’ve caused me to understand that Your promises to Israel stand whether or not they are secular, and You’ve promised they will be saved despite of their rebellion and disobedience, because they have a special place in Your heart.

I’m not sure Lord Jesus or really clear whether it’s You leading me to move on, or it’s just a feeling of hurt or bitterness; Lord, do something in my heart and help me to make the right decision; I will not run ahead but wait on You, Jesus help me make the right decision.

It’s amazing, You answer in strange ways, last night I felt sure my time was up at my church, but today after reading WFT I’m not so sure whether or not it’s Your time for me to move on or it’s just me wanting to escape.
Today’s topic was on ‘Moving on’ and I’m confused. Father, please help me to do what is right; I want to please You. Lord, I know that I have spoken to You in the past about the various situations, and mentioned in a round about way how I felt to others; Lord Jesus, there seems to be no outlet to speak, so speaking might appears to be gossiping.

Lord I don’t know whether I have used any words in the past that has caused this response towards me. Until I know, probably moving on, would leave a legacy of bitterness or unhealed wounds behind; this was the lesson in WFT about ‘Moving on.’ So please help me to clear up any wrong thoughts or feelings because I do not want to ‘miss the grace of God’ and leave any lasting damage in Your church; Lord show me what to do.

Father, help me not to go by my emotions and make decisions by my feelings, I really do want to straighten out misunderstanding if there is any, I want to be right with You and with my church family. Lord my gift to You is to serve Your body, and I know that pleases You more than anything that I would ever offer up to You.
Father God, show me each step from today onward.

Father take the veil from my eyes so that I can see clearly, I want to serve. I don’t know whether it is Your desire or mine to serve the Jewish people, I need to know in what capacity I am able to serve them. I know that I can pray and I do pray for the peace of Jerusalem and anything that I heard in the media, Lord please make it clear to me and help me to do it Your way. I want to be right with You and also with all my leaders in my church; God You know all things, so help me to do what is right. Amen
