Intimacy and Privacy with God!!

Being in close relationship with God Almighty needs no dressing up. God already knows who we are and accepts us in the same manner so it is foolish to talk in another's tone and diction; he expects us to be ourselves. Although I do get anxious about my grammar when writing for public viewing, but when writing to God I am relaxed.

With God I am real, I just let it pours out of my innermost being and express to Him what's going on in my life at that particular time and that covers a vast spectrum of praise, prayer, intercession and worship. My language during those special times, are just me, it is conversational and real, because of that I have seen tremendous answers to these requests. I have heard Him speak, through guidance, and I have learnt to run to Him and write when expressing verbally becomes difficult, or writing to Him could be a spin off during my prayer times.

Even though writing my prayers are getting less frequent and not on a daily basis as in the earlier days, it can sometimes last for days as will be seen with the prayers I will publish.

Please excuse any grammatical errors they are not intentional but rather a weakness, please read these prayers as intended; they are to encourage and bless the body of Christ. God bless.

Prayer of Dedication & Intercession
14th December 2007

Dear God, I love You.
Thank You for a new day, thank You for being with me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever, or until I see You face to face in glory. Lord, I do love You, all my praises go to You. Thank You for Your loving kindness and tender mercies, Lord thank You for touching my brothers and sisters in the writing community. Lord my writing is being exposed to so many, I do not know the effect until I arrive in heaven; but one thing I do know I am encouraged and I know that people will be encouraged too.

Lord this discovery will enthuse me to send what You have given me so that even one life will be affected and encouraged.

Lord, this day is praise day. I will bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits; thank Your Lord for removing the tension between S & J, Lord thank You that You are going to work on their personalities. Thank You for their salvation and deliverance. Thank You that they will be taught by You and great shall be their peace.

Lord, my heart and mind are open to You; You are my Lord and Saviour full of compassion and tender mercies. I delight greatly in You and longed to worship You as You deserve. I know that I need to come up higher but I am only doing my best Lord, and as my loving heavenly Father You accept what I am offering from my heart.

O God, I know You deserve the highest praise, my life is completely wrapped up in Your wings; You have hidden me and sheltered me. I am protected. I am delivered to declare my praises to You. All the glory goes to You.

Lord, thank You my God for this quiet time, I don¡¦t know what has taken place in the Spirit but all I do know I am going to be in Your presence to worship You for all it¡¦s worth.You¡¦re God Almighty; You¡¦re the precious Lamb of God. You¡¦re the coming King and Your power extends to all generation. I am so grateful to be Your child.

Father, now I¡¦m fishing for words to write, so I am thankful for my Helper who stays close by me to take over. It is true Lord, that sometimes it is difficult to form words whether speaking or writing, but You have left us a contingency to back us up every time; Holy Spirit our Helper - pray and praise through us, I will now pause and silently wait to allow Him to take the lead wherever He chooses to lead.

Holy Spirit, thanks for Your leading, it is plain which way my praises should go. Psalm 100 said enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. I have been doing that, and also has the inclination to follow through the model prayer, and as I read Word For Today, there it is; the writer went through the Lord¡¦s model prayer to His disciple, wonderfully, so now I will conclude my praise time with Matthew 6:9-13 as my personal prayer.

Matthew 6:9-13
¡§Father, thank You that I can establish my relationship with You because You¡¦re not only my Creator who lives in heaven but my Father. I can say daddy ¡VAbba. I hallowed (my respect and reverence) Your name and this goes beyond the Father daughter relationship, I can call You my Holy God who is worthy of my praise, adoration and respect.

Not only that Lord, I can enter Your gates with thanksgiving and praise ¡V Lord thank You for that; I am grateful for all You have done and is doing, and it gets Your attention when we are thankful. Lord, I will not complain, demand and have a wish list today ¡V just a longing to see Your kingdom come and Your will be done.

„X for Your kingdom to come it releases Your power,
„X Your will to be done releases Your purpose,
„X for my daily bread, releases Your provision and lack in my life.
„X Lord as I begin to access Your power, discover Your purpose for me I will then begin to walk in it.
„X Thank You Lord, when I ask for forgiveness, I forgive others and my enemies cannot stop my blessings You have poured out in my life. Lord as I remember Your goodness to me will give me the grace to forgive others and even learn to understand them.
„X Lord as I pray lead me not into temptation but deliver me from evil ¡V I am entering each day into a battle, but You have promised victory. I¡¦m protected against all Satan¡¦s attacks.
Lord, thank You that You had a purpose in instructing us to use this prayer; it covers every areas of our lives. Thank Your for today. Amen
