"I heard somethin' like,
the CRUDE prices are
up 7 cents a gallon!"

"What does this mean,

"Eh......I dunno, Lord.
All I know is these
prices are making us
all quite CRUDE: we
CURSE everytime we
go to the gas pumps!"

[STERN FROWN.]

"I was wondering, Lord;
is this all part of the
Spiritual Warfare?"

[LONG SILENCE.]
"Why didn't you go
to church today,

"Eh.....I don't like Easter, Lord."

The last Easter time
I went to church,
they were showing
scenes from that,
eh...MOVIE! I was
kinda OFFENDED!"

[NOD.]

"HEY! Come ON, Lord!
Why didn't that guy
just call it 'ONE MORE
REASON TO HATE THE
JEWS'? I figure that's what he
wanted to call it, anyway;
let's get real."

[SLOW FROWN.]
"That's not what I asked,

"I TOLD You, Lord!
I don't LIKE EASTER!
Can we talk about
somethin' ELSE?"

"Hey! I THOUGHT
about You, TODAY!"

what I asked of you."

"Lord, I'm HUMAN!

I can't do anything
about THAT,

[CHUCKLE.]

[LONG, IRRITATING PAUSE.]

I TOLD Ya:
I don't really
understand this Part,
ANYWAY!"

"All the more
reason for you to go,
My child."

"Yeah.....well, I was afraid
they might mention
'the Jews', again. I
really can't stand it:
all that prejudice."

[NOD.]
"Ah, My beloved.
[LONG PAUSE.]
There it is."

"WHAT, Lord?"

"The reason,
[LOVING NOD.]
for you to don
My Armour."
