Text without pretext and context is your own text
A sound principle of hermeneutics is to first exegete a passage within
Its own immediate context before venturing into other texts
We must understand the setting and the environment to
Get the real meaning of the text
Emotion does not negate a text

It is important to remember that a specific word or expression can have a completely Different meaning or application due to the varying contexts in which it appears so
It would be wise to search out the context or word

The world church (ecclesia) does not mean half of what we think it means
The word church means ‘senate’ (cabinet)
The Greek word Ecclesia (Church) is a Governmental word
It is not a religious word; Rome took the idea from the Greeks and
They made it practical and it was in this setting that Jesus arrived because
He was going to do the same and form His Ecclesia
Christians have missed this for centuries and today many
Still don’t study the word ecclesia and so today they fall into the trap of
A text without pretext and context is their text

We should take time and discover the importance of some Greek words so
That we can understand the importance of the setting and the context
After all, a specific word or expression can have a completely
Different meaning or application due to the varying contexts in which it appears
