No One Inside
Look! The stone is rolled aside
The guards look as though they died
For three days these ladies have cried
Now behold there is no body inside
Now the spices will be set aside
No longer needed for the One who died
There upon the stone the ladies spied
The angel that moved the stone aside
You are looking for Jesus the crucified
The angel to the ladies did confide
He is no longer there inside
He is risen! They now joyfully cried
In this history our lives reside
For it is in Jesus that we abide
We live because He came and died
Victorious! There is no body inside
Brothers and Sisters,
As we approach this celebration of Jesus’ victory over death through His resurrection I am excited. Every year I just take time to reflect on the holiday we celebrating. He is risen! What else needs to be said?
I humbly submit this in celebration of Jesus victory. God bless.
