My Hearts New Song

There is a song in my heart
A melody of a fresh start
Once I was dead in my sins
Now my new song begins

Redeemed through a mighty love
Reconciled with the Father above
Through the sacrifice of the Son
My heart’s new song has begun

Once shackled by heavy burden
Now life is again resurging
Stifled by the choices of the past
My heart’s new song, a song to last

Hear this wonderful noise
It is a sound my heart employs
A place for joy to belong
It is in my heart’s new song

Sing! Sing! Sing it loud
Ringing above the crowd
Sing it loud and sing it strong
This is my heart’s new song

Hi Christian, I read it out loud as a poem and it worked for me but I couldn't resit the melody in my heart so I sang it twice over. This too is my testimony and it is my new favourite song. Wow! What a testimony brother!-- I rejoice with you. Stay blessed and be prepared for the battle, for the devil is angry that he lost the grip on you.
