The Saul who persecuted Christians would have never dreamed for himself the vision that God provided. Paul not only changed nations, important people and Israel, he changed the world with God’s revelations.

What some people call a dream ends up being a daydream because they don’t prepare themselves spiritually to receive all that the vision entails. They might need to get rid of pride or a certain bad habit but never approach these areas and shift to maturity in Christ. To be serious about God’s dream for us, we must be willing to go deeper than we already are. We must see ourselves already accomplishing God’s projects even though they haven’t been started.

God’s dreams for us become reality when we build character and not ministries. Dreams can be delayed or abandoned through discouraging words from family and friends. If we allow our dream to become firmly established (regardless of pressures around us), it will move from a fantasy to actuality. The process may be slow and hard but holding on to God’s dream for us will leave others speechless when the vision becomes a truth.

PRAYER
Father, help us hold on to the dreams you give to us. May we stay on solid ground and continue in your Word to anchor us to your vision for us. Amen.
