Eternity

Awake, awake, oh, my soul!
For I shall come to claim thee.
Thy body shall no longer grow old,
For I am called Eternity.

Keep thy soul prepared for me,
Pure and undefiled before God,
For when they lay thee beneath the sod,
With me, ye shall spend Eternity.

Oh, soul, where shall it be?
For there are two places thou canst go,
Heaven above or Hell below.
Whatever your choice, it's still with me.

As ye have lived, so shall ye die.
Awake, oh, soul, to my cry!
Once made, the choice forever shall be,
For I am called Eternity.
