Forward and Deeper

Forward and deeper
I’ll not walk in satan’s lie
I choose to walk in truth alone
And on your Spirit and Word rely

Forward and deeper
No matter the cost that I must pay
May I be filled from head to toe
And walk only in your way

Forward and deeper
I must hear your voice
I choose to follow you
I have made this my choice

Forward and deeper
Is the place my soul longs for, each day
Walking in your spirit
That others may find a new way

Forward and deeper in you
Till my old man ceases to be
And people see Jesus alone
As you are the only life left in me

Forward and deeper
Till I reach your higher plain
Till you with freedom
May pour out your Holy Spirit rain

Forward and deeper
Till your Holy Spirit does empower
Every thought, word, and deed
That my life, will glorify you, in this hour

Forward and deeper
Till worship is a way of life
And no matter what may happen
I’ll never enter into strife

Forward and deeper
Is my only heart’s cry
Till no carnality is alive
So in you I only rely

Forward and deeper
Till my heart is all aglow
That the only thing left is you
And your glory I do show

Forward and deeper
As there is nothing left behind
The only fruit I wish to have
Is the Holy Spirit kind

Forward and deeper
That you alone may be
That I am so crucified
That you live, not me.
