An old Sony ad really struck a chord with me a long time ago. It was a TV ad for their pocket cassette recorders. In a restaurant, a group of people was seated around a table. They were giving their food orders to a waiter who appeared to be writing them down. As soon as he got all the orders, he went to the kitchen. He then pulled a Sony cassette recorder out of his pocket and laid it on a table. When the food was served, and one or another in the group complained that what they got was not what they ordered, out came the recorder again. Its gotcha time!

If you step out off of a ledge at a great enough height above ground, the law of gravity is going to apply. It will do so regardless of whatever alternative ideas and lifestyles you embrace concerning it. Personal choice has its liberty, but it still has its laws. It does not matter what you think about the law of gravity and its applicability to you. Just step out against it, and you become a statistic. Its gotcha time!

It seems the world is very much like Old Testament Israel in its most evil days, when every man did what he thought was right in his own mind. But the physical laws that can kill you have spiritual equals that can do the same. Matthew 12:36 says that every word that is spoken in your lifetime will be remembered when your life is over and your body is a cold corpse. God's got a zillion Sonys out there, and He's not missin a word! Its gotcha time!

Be careful, keep your words sweet, make em something you can stand to eat!
