Just for fun we’re coming together
And just for fun I’m writing this poem.

Never take Life so seriously, that you can’t have any fun
Or in the end you’ll be bitter and alone.

You should always try to be happy. Isn’t this right?
The happiness in your Soul can bring you through the darkest night.

And never think your meaning in Life is gone.
It’s always darkest before the dawn.

But then you can bask in the sun. Never let the darkness win!
The light will always shine again.

You may sometimes struggle, just to get through the day.
But if you look hard enough there’s always a way.

Then you can look at it all and be able to say
"I’ve never given up, although there have been prices to pay.
I’ve experienced all I could and I’d do it again, if I knew I should."

Just to taste the sweetness of life once more.
The price of freedom is just to open the door
And find out what’s beyond that for us. What’s in store?
