Momma always taught us,
when things go wrong, just laugh,
You cannot change the future,
or worry about the past.

In every life some rain will fall,
so take it all in stide,
When things get rough, remember son,
God is on your side.

God will always be there son,
when you seem to need Him most,
He'll calm your soul within the fire,
thru the power of the Holy Ghost.

All others may forsake you son,
in times of great distress,
but seek His face and not His hand,
and you'll be truly blessed.

So don't whine about your trouble,
or complain about your estate,
Don't cry over things you cannot change,
or gripe about your fate.

Just laugh when things get out of hand,
and know that God still cares,
He'll never fail you, not one time,
throughout you troubled years.

So I took what Momma told me,
and applied it to my life,
I'm 60 now and seen my share,
of troubles, toil, and stife.

And though I live to be 100,
when trouble impedes my path,
I'll still apply my Mom's advice,
and remember to Just Laugh."
