Prayer Support

One day I had a burden
For a friend of mine while in church
So on my knees to pray I went
To help get him from the lurch

God knew the intensity of the intercession
That to bring his freedom it would take
So He sent two other friends to help
As the burden in me was great

Much to my surprise
I felt hands laid on my back
These two interceded for me
So I could squelch the spiritual attack

I talked with the two
After the prayer was done
They said that they were led to pray for me
So that I would have the strength to go on

God is able to go to great lengths
When our brother or sister is in need
As the whole body works together
And the Holy Spirit they do heed

We really need each other
Whether we be a hand, foot or eye
For when we work together and pray
Much victory we will realize

I find it very interesting
That God will go to such great length
To help a child of His that is praying
Through many methods, He will give to them new strength.
