Condemnation

What is condemnation?
But just a spiritual attack
It is designed to put you into bondage
And from God’s presence lack

You say, well I did sin
So the condemnation is right
But you are forgetting one thing
The one condemned is only the devil’s plight

Let’s look at the progression
Of the devil's plan
The bottom line
He wants you out of God’s hand

He brings the temptation for us to sin
And like Eve we buy the lie
She had to leave God’s garden
On the blessing she could no longer rely

When Jesus died for us
He made a way for our return
We can go back into the Garden
If something we will learn

If we ask God to forgive us
Then forgive is what He does
We are brought back into fellowship
Because of His great forgiving love

If we confess our sins
He is faithful and just to forgive
And cleanse us from all unrighteousness
Because with Him, He wants us to live

Since there is not one man
That does good and does not sin
God decided to make a way for all
To come back and fellowship with Him

When Adam and Eve did sin
And were cast out of the garden
There was no provision yet made
So God made a way of pardon

God wants man in fellowship with Him
Just like us, He does not like to be alone
Jesus then came and died for us
So that all our sin could be atoned

You must just believe
That when God does forgive He throws our sin
As far as the east is from the west
And never remembers it again

The one that still remembers
Is the devil, as he has no way to the garden back
His sin threw him into eternal hell
He is still mad, that’s why he still attacks

If the devil can make you believe
The condemnation that is from him
You will not walk in God’s presence
As you are still being punished for your sin

His first lie is the temptation
That you cannot do without the sin
The second lie is that you must stay there
And live in condemnation, just like him

This condemnation is a spirit
Straight from the pit of hell
That we have authority over
In Jesus name to go, we must tell

Who are we going to believe?
The devil that can only lie
Or our God that said, I forgive
And on whose faithfulness, we can rely.
