A Helping Hand

One thing that I have found
That without a helping hand
I will never enter
Into my promise land

It may come
From a sister or brother
But it will not come
Without the help of another

For me to succeed
In what God did choose
It takes a helping hand from others
For independently, it I just cannot do

A helping hand seems to come
From a source unknown to me
But with each step of my obedience
God will cause a helping hand to be

The wait has been long
The road has been very hard to bear
But somehow when I most need it
Jesus brings a helping hand, with me to share.
