The Pain

Jesus, pick them up
And shield them from all harm
Just place then in your lap
And hold them in your loving arms

Father we know that we are healed
From our head down to our toes
Though our feelings may disagree
Our faith says that it is so

So we rise up in Jesus Name
We will stand upon our feet
Our faith combined with works
Makes our healing to become complete

Feelings we find can lie
Yet the truth we know is you
For you have never made a promise
That in your time you did not do

Though my pain seems so real
And it is difficult to deny
I know the truth is what You said
So the pain must be a lie

I focus then on only You
And not on the pain
For You promised to make all things new
And in You, I will never be the same

I praise You for all things
I thank You for Your Word
I exalt Your Holy Name
I worship You my Lord.
