42 divided by TWELVE?"

[LOVING PATIENT SILENCE.]

"Isn't forty-two, like,
.......3 1/2 YEARS?
(thoughtful silence)
But, I thought the Tribulation
was supposed to be 7 YEARS?

[PATIENT SILENCE]

"I can't find my pen.
Let me try to figure out my math."
(scribbling in Bible)

[PATIENT SILENCE OF A FATHER]

(doodling in Bible)
"Hey, LORD?
Should I tell
my friend about part
of her book gettin'
CHEWED?"

"Yes, My child."

"Well, what could I DO?
I left that 'Left Behind'
book on my kitchen TABLE....
for just a SECOND!"

[NOD.]

"I can't HELP it!
My kitty's got a CHEWING
problem. Do You think
it's her TEETH, Lord?"

"Yes, My child."

"She likes to CHEW?"

[PATIENT NOD.]

"Well, I guess it's okay;
she only chomped on a
couple of the unimportant
pages."

[SLOW NOD.]

"'Ya know, Lord,
this Carpethia guy is
just too......"

"What, My precious."

"PREDICTABLE?"

[INIFINTELY PATIENT SILENCE]

"I don't know;
don't 'Ya think everybody
would see THROUGH him?
I mean, this guy was, like
PERFECT. Neah. People
aren't THAT stupid,
ARE they?"

"Read My Word, child."

"WHY, LORD?
Is there somthin' in Here,
about people bein' STUPID?"

"Look, child."
