The Comforter

Jesus said it is expedient
That He should go away
As He would send the Comforter
To comfort us today
The Comforter has come
To fill us with His power
To lead and guide our every way
To testify of Jesus, this hour
He will teach to us all things
And bring to our remembrance, what Jesus said
He will speak gently to our hearts
As through Him, we shall be led
We do not have to rely
On our own wisdom or power
As the Comforter has come
For a Pentecostal shower
The comforter has come
Reach up and receive Him this hour
The Holy Spirit has been given
To make you a witness of God’s power.
