Close to Jesus

Staying close too Jesus
Protects you from being harmed
Jesus even lets you know
When too be alarmed

Staying close to Jesus
Keeps peace down in your soul
It brings new direction
When the way you do not know

Staying close to Jesus
Gives you revelation knowledge of the things unseen
It guides your path even through the darkness
With a countenance that makes you gleam

Staying close to Jesus
Fills your heart with His love
Even to the unlovable
You’re able to give grace from above

Staying close to Jesus
And abiding under the shadow of His wing
Make’s you safe and secure
No matter what the devil may bring

The world may say that you are crazy
But they just can’t see what they do miss
For Staying close to Jesus
Is the greatest joy that there is.
