Poetry
Let me be beside the sea
The wishy-washy plunging tide
The blue and green and gray and salt
That sings to me the roar
And brings
The crashing wave into my soul
And falls upon and takes away
And draws me with the tide

May I say that I find this poem to be so evocative, and truly poetic. Is it a breakaway from your usual style/s?
I had one tiny difficulty with 'still' in the first line, to being taken by the tide in the last. Perhaps the latter refered to soul, not body. Perhaps you could look at that? Maybe, its just me.
It seems important in a short poem to make crystal clear what is intended.
And, it is soooo beautiful. Its exciting to see such a poem ... "born" ... really coming from the creative part of the brain, I think.
Every encouragement, to continue to search this part of yourself. I would be very happy, if I had written this work.
