The hand of the Lord
was upon me,
and He brought me
out by the Spirit of the Lord,
and set me down in
the midst of the valley;
it was full of bones.
[Ezekiel 37:1]

Ezekiel isn't very happy.
He was in the middle of
dinner. It was the first
piece of chicken he had
had, in weeks, without
indigestion. All of the
sudden, the Spirit of
the Lord picked him up,
schlepping him to this ......
this weird PLACE.

"Hey, Lord? Where are
we GOIN'?"

"You'll see, Ezekiel.
We're almost there."

"Eh.....yeah. Well, I
appreciate this, eh,
FLIGHT, but 'Ya
know, I was in the
middle of dinner."

"Which is more important,
Ezekiel: a piece of chicken,
or spending time with your
Lord?"

"Eh, sure thing, Lord.
'Ya know, I wouldv'e
been happy to share my
chicken with You.
Why don't we go back
to my little, comfortable
house? I could sing 'Ya
one of my favorite songs!"

"I understand, Ezekiel.
But, you can sing to Me,
later."

(squirming in His Hand)
"PLEASE, Lord? Can't we go BACK?
I don't LIKE this place!"

"No, child.
I have something to show you."

(squirm)
"Yeah.....but, BONES?
You know how squeamish,
I am, Lord!"

"Yes, child.
But, Who are you with?"

"Eh......uh, YOU?"

[NOD.]
"And, you have nothing to fear."

"I'm scared of EVERYTHING,
Lord!"

[NOD.]
"Yes. I know, child."

"Then, why are You taking
me to such a PLACE?
Let me go;
PLEASE, Lord?
I promise never to
complain about
chicken bones in
my soup, EVER again!"

"But, I have news
for you, Ezekiel."

"What's THAT, Lord?"

"Just THAT, Ezekiel:
I have NEWS for you!"

"I've got news for You,
too, Lord."

"What is that, My Ezekiel?"

"I don't like this
flyin' about, Lord.
I'm gonna' be sick."

[NOD.]

And He led me round
among them;
and behold,
there were very many
upon the valley;
and lo,
they were very dry.
And, He said to me,
Son of man,
can these bones live?"
Ezekiel 37:2-3]
