Truly, Your heart is preoccupied
with plans for me.
You’ve set aside peace, with hopeful future
all for me.

You and Your word are alike,
the rejoicing of my being.
Your Truth is my sustenance.
You grant me all things
that pertain to life and godliness.

Your Spirit provokes in me
holy desire,
by which I rejoice in Your word.

You are the Goldsmith,
True and Faithful,
to heat up the gold of my life.
to remove the dross of iniquity.
You will cease when Your image
is reflected in the gold of my being.
Only then, will my worship be perfected.

Until then, You retain my life,
and you establish me with
Your mercy.
In keeping Your word with Your Son,
I remain Yours, always.

Show me You and Your glory,
let Your Person reveal to me Your plan.
Provide the good, even in evil times,
and shape me with Your loving-kindness.
Let me find no pleasure, no contentment,
save in conformity to You alone.
