Hello Michael, friend of mine.
I wonder, could you spare the time

These are my words, please believe they're true.
One night a star fell out of the sky for me,
Like ecstasy,
And burned my hands like fire.

For many nights, I walked alone,
I searched in vain, could not find home.
Strange cities with lights so bright,
I walked alone in the dead of night
For I remembered a star that
Fell out of the sky for me,
Like ecstasy
And burned my heart like fire.

I don't know where to go from here,
I turn around and in my fear
I see faces without a name
I go to places, they're all the same,
Michael, can you help me
Find my way back home?
I'm so alone.
Don't want this pain of fire.

Just take that star back to the sky.
With it, take the tears I've cried.
Take my pockets full of problems too!
Michael, tell me, what am I to do?
Be a friend, cos I'm sinking,
Lend a hand when you hear me call,
Please break my fall
And end this pain of fire.
