Although some times can be tough,
And you might not have enough;
Others give generously,
Since it makes them joyously.

Ties from God will not sever,
Being a cheerful giver;
Tithing is good for the soul,
As another way to extol.

When you tithe it's ten percent,
Of your income that is sent;
Helping the church and the cause,
For that day when Jesus calls.

I can't say you have to start,
Since it must come from the heart;
Your love for Him will hunger,
While your faith grows stronger.

So think about Jesus Christ,
And all that He sacrificed;
Just how much He had given;
For our trip to Heaven.
