“For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God” (John 12:43) King James Version

1. Believe that you are God’s child – that knowledge keeps you high upon a rock (protected).
2. Accept praise from Him only.
3. Don’t even look to people for love and acceptance in order to “feel” approved.
4. Cast your cares onto the Lord.
5. Believe that a host of angels is supporting you daily in every decision and thought.
6. Push down any thoughts of superiority.
7. Love others, expect nothing back.
8. Let God change you so that He alone is center of your life.
9. Don’t let the cuts of men harbor in your soul (normally words cast to you to hurt you). Free yourself from any poison that tries to infiltrate your spirit. Recognize it immediately and forbid those thoughts to regain entrance.

PRAYER
Father, thank you that you are more than enough. We accept your praise first and foremost. Help us to recognize within ourselves when we desire the praises of men to sustain us, repent from those feelings and start afresh. Amen.
