Falling on my face trying to touch the hem of a garment I’m unworthy to hold,
Almost hoping you wouldn’t notice me being so bold,
Longing for forgiveness,
Yearning for your healing of my darkness.

But You felt my touch before it was even there,
You turned and looked deep into my heart,
Then you held out your arms and held me close.
And spoke of how we will never be apart.

I never thought this heart would be redeemed,
But you filled the empty space,
And into my heart your love beamed

I thank you for your love Lord
I thank you for your grace
I thank you that you never left me,
To run alone in this race.
