Merry Christmas

“M”erry is my heart
Because Jesus Christ is my Lord
Just for what He has been for me
And to what I can look toward

“E”ternal is my home
With Jesus in Heaven above
A place with no sickness or pain
An eternal place, just filled with His love

“R”ejoicing is what I am
Because for me, all that He has done
The peace that fills my heart
I have fellowship, with God’s Son

“R”everence to the Lord
I try to always show
He is the great “I Am”
The greatest one, that I could ever know

“Y”es to Jesus
Is the greatest word that I ever spoke
That word brought life, peace and joy
And with Him a glorious yoke


“C”hristmas is about Jesus
You were born of a virgin
You gave your life upon the cross
You paid the price for all my sin
For my life, you paid the cost

“H”oly Spirit, Jesus sent you to me
To be my comforter in times of pain
You lead and guide my way
You fill me with your power
You teach to me, what I am to say

“R”esurrected is my Jesus
For on the third day, you did arise
The stone was rolled away
Death had no power over you
You even conquered, death’s grave

“I”ntercession is what Jesus you now do
As you sit at the right hand of God
You are ever interceding for me
That I might know and fulfill
Your glorious and eternal, destiny

“S”alvation is God’s gift
That He so graciously gave to man
By sending His Son to die
That we may have fellowship
With the Father once again

“T”elling others about my Jesus
Just sharing with them all the things
That for me, my Savior has done
It is such a great joy and blessing
To see others accept, His great salvation

“M”ercy you always show to me
When I cry out to you
With all my heart and soul
You have always been so faithful
Of my hand, you never will let go

“A”nswered prayers are so many
Though undeserving as I am
Jesus, you always stay near
You always give to me such grace
And wipe away all my tears

“S”eason's come and season’s go
But this one I gladly celebrate
I say Happy Birthday to my Jesus
Just for being you
This, I do so, appreciate.
