The War

If we are to be victorious
In this war that we are in
Then the blinders must come off
That have caused mankind to sin

We must take up our shield of faith
And with spiritual weapons fight
If we are ever going to win
Over the creatures of night

Passive Christianity will not work
To go forward we must posses our land
We must take up the Holy Spirit sword
And allow Him through us to bring about God’s plan

The church has been enamored with mans programs
Instead of waiting for God’s power
We need an upper room experience
To bring God’s anointing on our land in this hour

Too long have we played church
And built an alter on what God did in past days
We must submit to the Holy Spirit
And follow the cloud into His new ways

God desires to make all things new
Yet to do so all the old must go
The traditions and religious practices of men
Will not bring about a power spiritual flow

We must wait on the Lord in prayer and intercession
And not be so quick to just do
For when we are filled and led by His power
The world will see Jesus instead of you.
