Lost Souls

There are many lost souls
Upon this earth
Which are walking, but as a shell
They do not know
The love of God
Unless someone, to them will tell

The harvest is plenteous
Yet the laborers are few
To bring the harvest in
People will not know
God has a tailored plan
Unless someone will, tell them

The Holy Spirit will lead
And give the words
If we just open out heart and pray
The Holy Spirit can have
Someone cross your path
If loving words you are willing to say

We must look for opportunity
And find the tender heart
That is seeking the true right way
Jesus is knocking on many doors
As Jesus said that he would add daily
To the church such as should be saved

It may be our neighbor
It may be a friend
It may be the plumber
It may be the electrician
It may be the checker
At the local grocery store
It may be the gas attendant
It may be the one that cleans the floors

There are many lost souls in the world
Which are ready to be loved and hear
About this Savior that we know
They can not hear
Unless they be told
So Jesus’ love, we must be willing to show

God said that he that winneth souls is wise
So if our heart is right we will seek
To bring salvation to the lost
If our Lord is Jesus Christ
We will do what it takes
We will be willing to pay the cost.

We always need to seek to find
The open door of opportunity
When sharing with another
They usually will open the door
As their heart is crying out
You may just gain a new sister or brother.
