RELEASING YOUR LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL.

The greatest need of humanity is Leadership. Our world today is where it is today not for lack of potential but for lack of good leadership. Everything rises and falls on leadership. We need to become coaches for the world and not allow sin make us forget how we should function. Let’s resist sin from robbing us of our capabilities and potentials.

The Church especially is capable of leading the crusade for good leadership. God is calling the Church to take its leadership position. The great commission is a leadership mandate. Jesus has given us the assignment of leading people on the basis of groupings. This is because people listen more and better to someone they can identify with. Doctors will listen better to a Christian doctor talk because they believe he’s not after what he can get from them. Businessmen will listen to businessmen, secretaries will listen to secretaries, plumbers will listen to plumbers and lawyers will listen to lawyers like them selves.
This is the reason why we need to understand the purpose of the five-fold ministry in Ephesians 4 vs.11\12. An Apostle is a pioneer, someone who starts something new. Bill Gates is an Apostle in the computer world.
A prophet is a visionary, a dreamer like Michael Faraday. Who is an Evangelist if not a marketer, a sales person who can use persuasive words to make you buy his wares.
A pastor is a manager, someone who ensures that the system is running after its been founded.

A Teacher is a management consultant who organizes seminars and teaches us how to do it. Within each of these groupings are prophetic doctors and apostolic doctors, evangelistic lawyers, teaching accountants and pastoral drivers.
In our field, we should apply all the spiritual principles we‘ve been taught in the word of God, stand up before people who will listen to us. You are to be a prophet, pastor and coach wherever you find yourself. God did not put light in us to hide us in the church.

“We should not sing standing on the promises’ while all we are doing is sitting in the premises”. There is a part for us to play in leadership. Let’s touch people’s life. We are asset to our generation because of our leadership potentials. This is the time to discover, develop and maximize our hidden leadership potentials. It’s time to put on the thinking cap.
