PERSISTENCE

One of the priceless qualities of an entrepreneur is persistence. Several people have stories of things not working and are reluctant to start businesses but one basic truth is that things don¡¦t usually work out the way we want them.
The successful sales man knows that 80% of sales are made after the fifth call. Rejection is part of the game, in fact excellent salesman know that they¡¦ll have more No¡¦s than Yes.

Quitting is easy, anybody can quit. In fact most people do but the moment you refuse to quit you increase your chances of succeeding drastically.

I want to encourage you that you give your effort time to compound. Thomas Edison, while he was trying to invent the incandescent light bulb tried several times. As a matter of fact, by the five thousandth experiment, a young laboratory assistant working with him said, ¡§ It¡¦s no use, let¡¦s give up, we¡¦ve tried these five thousand times and failed.¡¨ Edison replied, ¡§We¡¦ve not failed, we have only discovered five thousand ways by which it will not work. We are nearer to the answer now than when we started.¡¨

Failures can be one of your greatest allies. Each failure brings you closer to your goal. Each time it doesn¡¦t work out, change your approach. Improvement is important. Have a positive attitude towards failure. Most successful people are failures who refuse to give up too soon.

Think about these-
ľ If you give up you will end up being ordinary and average for the rest of your life
ľ If you give up now, all the experiences you have acquired will be wasted.

Create an atmosphere around you where failure is not fatal. Don¡¦t give up on your dream too soon. Every great man is a product of persistence. Keep digging you are very close to your dream.
Learn to hold on a little bit because there is always a way out of every problem. Put on your thinking cap.
