A Reminder of God

The moon takes on many shapes
Which remind me of the Lord
Always listening and watching
His creation made through His Word

The moon as a crescent
Depending on which way you view
Looks like a big smile
At something right we did do

If you look another way
You can see a frown
When God is unhappy with man
And maybe just a little down

The moon when full
Makes me think of His eye
Always wide open and watching
On this we can rely

The moon shaped as an ear
Shows He always listens to what is being said
Since we are all going to give an account of our word’s
Do we speak words of life, or just what pops into our head?

God made many things
Which are to remind us of Him
So I think the moon in many shapes
Is just one of His reminders, again.
