I'd been biking around
with training wheels.
A test came asking
"Is your faith real?"

My bold God,
He swept them off.
I freaked & fell,
and got scuffed up.

But there you were
to hold my yellow bike
to give me balance
so I could ride.

Many a month
you stood by
you knew my fears
you saw me cry.

But you held that bike
in the rain
despite the wind
and through that pain.

Then one day
You knew to let go.
I kept on peddling that
mustard-colored bike
right down that road.

I took that bike
right out of town
across the ocean
yet did not drown.

You were the one
pointing me to faith
A crown in heaven
for you awaits.
