It Is Only About Him

You can gain all knowledge
Yet, walk in the vanity of your mind
Yet if you seek the anointing
You will walk in God’s power, divine

Knowledge can make you puffed up
And cause you to walk in the works of men
To this God may say that He never knew you
For all of your motives were, but sin

With the anointing there comes a cost
That few are willing to pay
You could lose most everything
If with Jesus, you go all the way

You will be rejected
As many, you, they do not understand
You may get kicked out of places
As your walk upsets their selfish plan

Not that knowledge is wrong
But it is not really what we know
When we gain intimacy with the Holy Spirit
He will teach us all that’s so

It is only about Him, not us
As His ways are so much higher than our own
His plans are for our good and not evil
And are manifested by His power, alone

The anointing will teach you
About His plan and power
You will be led as Jesus walked
And be shown where to be, in this hour

His plan is realized
As you discern spiritually
It does not come through the carnal mind
Revelation does not come, naturally

The anointing will break
Every bondage and yoke
It will empower you to walk
The places the Holy Spirit to you, spoke

It will bring deliverance
To the poor, sick, and lame
As it is only God and His power
He alone can get all fame

Seek the anointing with all your heart
If a new walk you wish to take
Be willing to lay all on alter
Then a new person, Jesus will make

Jesus has a plan
Yet the cost you must realize
It could cost you the whole world
Because your carnal man, must die.
