Peacefully asleep... she remembers and is wide awake
She prays and she waits... she prays and she waits
Someone she dearly loves needs Jesus to intervene
She can't help but worry about and imagine the scene

She's a prayer worrier
Concerned about the souls around her
The worry energy helps her care
The worry energy helps her pray
Pray for the prayer worrier today

She thinks about and worries herself to sleep most nights
The anxious thoughts just seem to multiply and divide
Nervous energy generates compassionate prayers
The Holy Ghost inside her makes intercession for her

She's a prayer worrier
Concerned about the souls around her
The worry energy helps her care
The worry energy helps her pray
Pray for the prayer worrier today

Exhausted... finally asleep for a little while again
Now it's time to get up and face this world filled with sin
The Lord showed her a vision in a life-like dream
She smiles... He answered her prayers... He intervened!

She's a prayer worrier
Concerned about the souls around her
Concerned enough to care
Concerned enough to pray

Pray for the prayer worrier today

Romans 8

[26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
[27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
[28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
