Suffering sickness silently the cancer kills...and kills
Living day-to-day and breath-to-breath on prayer and pills
Weak in body barely able to speak yet strong in Spirit
Only Jesus is the reason he's made it through it

Unashamed Bob's reaches to everyone in Jesus' Name
He thanks God and encourages each one that came
Visiting angels busy ministering to the hurting body
Slipping into sleep speaking in tongues boldly

Bob died in peace knowing his soul was going with the Lord
His prayer was for family and friends to also be delivered
Earnestly he contended for the faith once given to the saints
He fought the good fight of faith and never wavered!

Even though cancer killed his body, Bob's prayers live on:
Jesus continues to answer them
We remember the blessing Bob was and is:
in the end we can say Bob was God's friend
